Each year, magicians start making appearances at libraries around the country in order to promote summer reading programs. According to the National Ledger & In Touch Paris, Paris Hilton may have missed her calling as a magician’s assistant. Tina Sims reports, ”But instead of taking it all off for fame, Paris has now decided to tone it down and work Vegas and just take half off. Sort of.” Earlier this month she escorted contestants from her upcoming MTV reality series, My New BFF, to Las Vegas’ Mirage Hotel’s villas for comedian Jeff Beacher’s Madhouse show after-party. The magazine reports that as part of the final act, Paris jumped onstage to assist magician Nathan Burton with a classic illusion — sawing a starlet in half. “At first I was a little scared but it was a lot of fun,” Paris reveals to In Touch. Unfortunately, the heiress won’t be spilling secrets of the trade.
